Pokemon - Helena x Lucian

You know...this is kind of a hard topic to write about, because their relationship is so shrouded in mystery. Of course as it should be, for they kept it secret for as long as they could manage. But here's what CAN be said about their relationship. (BTW, Lucian is the Lugia from Pokemon Movie 2000, but the character portrayal belongs to )

LUCIAN:

- It's a long-distance one. He can only really visit Helena for moments at a time, because he's STILL repairing damages wrought by the Shamouti Incident. For now...he mustn't leave his domain for too long. However, he CAN telepathically communicate with her on a very regular basis, pretty much doing so at any chance he gets. This definitely helped them become very close to each other.

- After the horrors of the XD001 Incident, when Lucian was corrupted via the Shadow Process, he realized Team Cipher must be at large somewhere in the world. And if not them, equally worse people. Knowing this, he asks her to keep their relationship secret, not wanting to risk something bad happening to Helena for being connected to him.

- Lucian is looking forward to introducing Helena to his little sister, who lives around Ogi Isle with her baby son, Silver!

- Just like his brother, Lucian had once seen human beings as childish. Petty, self-centered, naive beings who try their hardest to matter, and impress those more powerful than them, yet are unable to understand the consequences of their own actions. This had changed over time, as the human race smartened up. Even more so as he actually MET some of these people, and fought for good causes alongside them. Even more so after meeting HER.

- Lucian had been suffering a "Last-of-His-Kind" crisis for a very long time now, considering the only other Lugias he knows to exist are his own sister and nephew. The fact that he could very well die out with no legacy was a source of deep sadness for him. Because of this, managing to conceive a child with Helena was a life-changing experience for him.

- Lucian had once been in a relationship, with one of the original Three Legendary Birds. Specifically Articuno, named Crystalaria. They had been together for several years, but her baggage with dealing with her other two siblings, and her disinterest in rearing a family caused the two to break up gently. However, they're still on good terms with each other, and Crystalaria looks forward to the birth of Lucian's child.

HELENA:

- As a heads-up, it was Lera who introduced Helena to him in the first place. To her, Lucian is a beloved mentor who had taught her everything she knows now, while Helena is a fast friend she comes across often during her journeys. She never expected the pregnancy to happen, but knowing it belongs to Lucian, she can't wait to finally meet his baby.

- One thing Lucian admires most about Helena is the fact that she doesn't feel the need to impress anyone to be happy. She just does what she does because it makes her happy and satisfied with life, and wants others to feel just as secure with their life choices as she is. And whatever she does for Lucian, she does it because she wants him to be happy for its own sake.

- However, her relationship with HIM did prompt her to clean up her act in several ways. She had begun eating healthier, did her best to organize herself and her home, and cut down on partying, just to be decent.

- Despite this, she IS still quite promiscuous, and has an active sex life. Lucian had already known this before he met her, and had long since made peace with it, so long as she remains protected. He's even more secure knowing Helena ultimately committed herself to having his child. Besides, if it means making her pregnancy a more pleasant experience, he's totally okay with it.

- From her interactions with Lucian, and the various other Legendaries she met while pregnant and on her way over to Olivine City, Helena seems to have gained a penchant for casually chatting up Legendary Pokemon. Of course, she'll show formality if she absolutely has to, but would much rather talk to them like a person than a deity.

- She decided to carry the burden of pregnancy to begin with simply because she loves Lucian that much. She's decided, she is willing to bear with all the pain that comes with "The World's Most Painful Pregnancy" it if it means seeing Lucian be truly happy.

A healthy child for him is perhaps the ultimate gift she, or ANY human could ever give him. 

Within his mind, Lucian knows she deserves good things.
