Paleozoic Entry: Eldarine were intelligent beings who dwelled in vast cities in the land and sea, having first colonized the Planet Earth one billion years ago. It is thought that they are the reason many Pokemon we know today exist to begin with.
This family of Pokemon nearly went extinct during the Ice Age, and their only remaining city is underwater, frozen in ice, in Antarctica. Their city is currently overrun by one of their own rebellious creations.

Paleozoic Entry: Sporine are the young of Eldarine, who reproduce using spores. They are kept in immense bubble nurseries, which contain growing Sporine in clusters until they are ready to hatch and attach to the ocean floor, alongside the likes of Cradily.
Mesozoic Entry: Sporine are nearly sessile, drifting to the sea floor and rooting themselves onto rocks. Their bodies are incredibly durable, being able to withstand enormous underwater pressures, and grow by absorbing more water into their dense bodies.
Cenozoic Entry: Sporine are as intelligent as human children, and communicate to each other by flashing their red eyes. However, during times of famine, they go into a state of suspended animation, until they awaken, causing the ocean floor to blink red for hours.

Mesozoic Entry: Eldarine utilized a number of synthetic Pokemon that they created from scratch, or took from nature, and crafted to their own ends. These may include the families Staryu, Beldum, Ferroseed, and possibly others that existed during the Cambrian era.
Cenozoic Entry: Eldarine are highly resistant to pressures and damage, often living for millennium at a time. They can travel through space without using ships, by using their wings as solar sails, and putting their bodies in suspended animation.
